The Exergy of fossil fuels is much higher than that of the so-called renewables. That is why fossil fuel power plants are dispatchable and so-called renewable power plants are not dispatchable without intermediate power plants such as battery plants that keep on catching on fire.
I like dispatchable power plants. It is why I have one in my backyard.
