This is another piece of space opera that I first heard about in this

There is a short work in the same universe, Belladonna Nights. It is
collected in the recent anthology, New Adventures in Space Opera,
edited by Jonathan Strahan.

Thanks. I'll check it out.
I've found that I prefer Reynolds' standalones (House of Suns, Century
Rain, Terminal World) to Revelation Space, and wish he'd extend at
least some of them, so it looks like he finally has.
I love the series including Revelation Space just as much as the
standalones. (I didn't finish the YA Revenger.)
Poseidon's Children 3 books 14 stars.
Prefect Dreyfus Emergency 3 books, 15 stars.
