 Unless you're especially tough on your phone, (or perhaps have a very
cheap one?) they're a waste of money IMO. My Galaxy S10+ is 5 years old,
has never worn one, and has nary a scratch...

I use the matte protectors to reduce the screen reflection.  The 'protection' is of secondary value.  They used to be under a buck each, but inflation has hit everything.  The selection of matte protectors is small and I just buy the cheapest.
