I'm well aware both Samsung & Google promise 7 years, 7 OS updates.
But how many releases SIMULTANEOUSLY do you think that means, in practice?
To give an example of why this SIMULTANEOUS full hotfix support is
important, note that Microsoft simultaneously currently provides full
hotfix support to two operating systems today (Windows 10 & 11).
Full hotfix support means that Microsoft will fix EVERY security bug it
knows about - not just the most egregious bugs which Microsoft might, from
time to time, fix on any Windows operating system of the past decades.
How many SIMULTANEOUS releases do you think the promised written support
for Google & Samsung is? Do you think it's the full 7 OS updates? Or less?
