In addition to the ~monthly core-package updates all Android 10+ phones get
(simply by being on the Internet), Samsung announced that the Galaxy
A-series will receive 6 years of updates and 5 years of security updates. If we assume one Android release per year, that's about six Android
releases, and five years of full hotfix support, in addition to the forever
hotfix support to about 30 core Android packages in Project Mainline.
My main question is how many of those Android releases will Samsung
*simultaneously* support, as it's typical to support a few at a time.
*From now on, how many SIMULTANEOUS releases does Google & Samsung support?*
