Localsend (free and open source) lets you transfer files between

Thanks for letting people know about LocalSend for transferring files
between Windows and Android, whether you're sitting at Android or Windows.
If anyone wants to know if a topic has been covered this search engine will
find all the newer topics since google stopped archiving this newsgroup.

a. Enter "localsend" into the "Search Terms" field
b. Perhaps change the radio dials from "Body" to "Subject"
c. And then you can tell instantly whether it has been covered before
Only having found out about LocalSend from the Windows newsgroup a month
ago, in my tests (admittedly only with iOS) some of the genius involved is
A. The only thing you need is both devices with LocalSend on the LAN
B. You can transfer from device to device (e.g., Android to Android)
C. It's just about hands down the easiest way to transfer with iOS
Having said that, if you have a Windows PC, there are *plenty* of ways to
copy files between Android & Windows where LocalSend is just one of them.
Thanks for letting everyone know.
It's the right thing to do to help everyone you can.
