This is in the texting app that came with my Xiaomi phone.  I do use the
app, but not for this.
 
And I don't see any chatting, Only phone numbers and the first message
at 4;15PM on Friday, was that a specified phone number "created this
group chat" and under i for information was that there were 9 other
people in the chat.  Then at various times, 7 of them left the chat.
None of them had an area code for my area.

Is this spam of some sort? Can I ignore it or would it better if I could
I stop this from happening?    If I call the number who started it, am I
looking for trouble.
