If you want to disagree with that infallible logic, then tell me:

HINT: Nothing.
That answer proves there is no advantage whatsoever to the aux removal.
It's a (brilliant) marketing trick.
It's perhaps said to be even "courageous" for an OEM to remove basic
functionality & expect people to still buy a clearly substandard phone.
