Nothing to regret, but for cutting yourself off from a source of
information.

*All* sources of information are tainted, with whats coming from the
internet doubly so.  After all, everyone-and-his-mom can post their POV
(whatever it is) there.  Its a good thing, but at the same time its
drawback.

Avoiding politics ?   Sure, if you want their stuff to hit you as a ton of
bricks when something they come up with is executed, and its *way* to late
to protest.


Suggestion: Seek *more* sources of information instead of less.

Lol.  Are you paying for YouTube ?  If not, than *you are their product*,
not their customer.

As for your TV spying on you ?   Yes, possible.  But only *if you allow it
to do so*.  IOW, *your* choice.


America, "the land of freedom" where every company can use EULAs to rob you
of any freedom you think you might have.  Luckily I'm living in Europe,
where things work a bit differently. :-)
