The fact every iPhone below the iPhone 15 fails the EU longevity test
before repairs are necessary tells you all you need to know as to why Apple
has historically used the crappiest cheapest bargain-basement batteries.
Even the iPhone 16 is rumored to *barely* squeak by in the EU longevity
test which is Apple's largest crappy battery ever to infest an iPhone.

iPhone batteries failed every test that the EU gave them for longevity.
And no, a 3% improvement in efficiency does not offset a 100% difference in
battery capacity no matter how desperate the math-challenged zealots are.
