 FWIW, I always have to go look up this trivia, as I've never become invested enough in BMW to care enough to remember:
 Bimmer is the slang for BMW's automobiles;
Beemer is the slang for BMW's motorcycles.

Doesn't work. Many people call the cars "Beemers".

I may have mentioned this once.  My mother who is German made sure I
knew how to pronounce Audi correctly.  She hated when people pronounced
it "au-di" and said it's pronounced "ow-di".

 Similarly, that Porsche is two syllables, not one.

It's likely mostly Americans who can't pronounce it properly. They have enough trouble with proper English, let alone any other language.  :-p
