I recall decades ago posting to moderated groups where such abusive
nutters would be banhammered on sight. Those were the good ole days
of no nonsense moderators. Now groups like this devolve into a
shitshow thanks primarily to one or more bad actors and their
multiple enablers.

When a newsgroup is run by trolls, it becomes just another lame advocacy
newsgroup, where friendly mature conversation isn't welcome and sensible
people just stay away as a result.
