I don't sign into Win11 with an MS account, but I've been using their latest Outlook app (not the one in Office) with an old anonymous hotmail acct.
Suddenly my Start | DFS button is asking for a phone number to 'recover' the hotmail account in case I get locked out. This didn't happen when I accessed the hotmail acct via a browser.
WTF is it with Microsoft (and Google) wanting people's personal info?
Don't they know trolls REQUIRE anonymity, and the Internet is filled with us?
