Misrepresenting what has been claimed, again, -highhorse?

Strongly preferring one solution over another does not equal claiming
that the other solution is "horrible".

No matter how loudly you stomp your feet, people's preferences need
not be justified with "objective proof".
I guess -highhorse thinks we need to justify using Linux instead of WinCrap.
Honestly I don't care that much about the current Windows UI, one way or the
other. It's not as bad as Windows 8 was. What I don't like is that they try
to push their crap on you all the time. Like Edge, even if you make Firefox
your default browser. The only time I boot into Windows is to upgrade it.
Today I booted Windows 11 on a laptop only to find that they had another
button on the right side of the panel (task bar?) — (I guess from the last
time I updated) — "CoPilot Trial," AI crap I have zero interest in. I had to
look up how to get rid of it. They don't do that to me in Linux. If there's
something new on the panel, I put it there. Like they say, you don't own
Windows, you rent it, and the "landlord" has reserved the right enter your
computer at any time, for any reason. Microsoft can shove their crap where
the sun don't shine. I'm going to dual boot to something else. A different
Linux distribution or maybe one of the BSDs.
