My favorite editor ( Visual Studio ) doesn't run on Linux.
I have written c# macros & extensions for Visual Studio.

VS Code works just fine. I use the Vim plugin for both so the edit
functionality is the same. Comepared to Vim's multiple addressable
bookmarks, multiple buffers that you can paste in as required, and other
features Code and Studio, while constantly improving, are still lame.
