I have been with XFCE since KDE 3.5, they had issues and I moved away and see no
reason to go back. I can have the same desktop on my laptop and my chromebook,
other than a different conky file. I have vertical taskbar so I can use the full
height on the screen for apps. https://ibb.co/TWJw1kn

XFCE is great.
I've been playing around with Wyse terminals (5060 and 5070) running Linux.
Since the hardware is lighter (Celeron or Pentium Silver or AMD (on the
5060), all quad core) I've used Xfce instead of Cinnamon. I've gotten to
like it (especially the way Linux Mint customizes it).
