Why must I choose either VoIP _OR_ mobile ? Why not both, same number ?

"Messages.Google.COM" uses WiFi to mirror texts between my PC & my Droid.
"Contacts.Google.COM" sets my Droid's contacts to my PC (C:\...\People.CSV).
"Meet.Google.COM" for video conferencing.

Yet none of them let me make an ordinary call, VoIP _OR_ mobile.

You can forward your phone to your Google number, and have it
take your voicemail for you.

I can't install Microsoft's "Phone Link", nor can I install Win11
( my eight-year-old PC doesn't have the required hardware, apparently );
even if I could, why should I have to use Bluetooth instead of WiFi ?

I thought we didn't have to talk about Microsoft in this 'froup.
