Notepad++ is an awesome product. For some years it's the only text/programming editor I've used. It's also GPL-licensed (ugh).
Noting my disgust with Stallman, I asked the developer to release future versions of Notepad++ under a public domain, BSD or MIT license, and his response was:
"I have no problem with necrophilia. However,"
Then he closed the issue as completed.
