 Nah, the point is that the effect of modern humanity have caused changes
far more rapidly than normal, leaving ecosystems/species little time to
adapt.

   'Nature' often does that all by itself - volcanoes,
   ocean-current shifts, flood and drought, meteors,
   botanical plagues - and the SCALE of rapid change
   is HUGE, oft global.
   So don't get TOO worked up about our alleged few
   tenths of a degree changes ...
