I consider white Latinos white. "Hispanic" is a language group, not a racial
group.

When I was a kid in school they taught us about the "melting pot" and how
there are no differences in the races. (Not true, but I got the point.
People are people.) Now it's "racist" not to "recognize" the differences in
race. And the "melting pot" mixing of cultures has become "appropriation."
But all this only seems to work only in one direction. There's no issues
with other races "appropriating" stuff from the white culture. I think it's
all stupid. People are people — we're basically all mutts. As my grandmother
used to say, "There's good and there's bad in all of us." By "us" she meant
the various races.
