It's a very odd thing to complain about though. A ton of file types couldn't be opened before and suddenly they are, so DFS is unhappy about it. If there is an application he would prefer to use to open those formats, he is free to install it and then change the defaults to that application by going into those settings, finding the application and allowing it to manage all supported formats. He's grasping at straws at this point.

Not to mention that he gave "permission" to do all of this when he did the "typical install".
Sounds like a Windows Newbie.
