The sole purpose of this is to put Win11 Pro unactivated on it. I
want to see how it performs on my computer now that it has 32 GB RAM.
I did that upgrade after the switch to Linux.
Cheap, but it is just a 0.5TB ... I'd be more inclined to suggest the $90 for 2TB version on that same page.

Its to replace a pair of old 2TB SATA SSDs that are getting close to end-of-life. Fast as a RAID0 in its day, but NVMe today is better.
