It was anachronistic but a tasteless joke was if Cass Eliot and Karen

Eliot died in '74 and Carpenter in '83. They both were 32. Choking on a
sandwich was dreamed up by Eliot's manager to defuse the idea she had
OD's.
They were a little too pop for my taste but didn't cause me to start
punching buttons on teh car radio like The Association.
