Cancer existed before the Chernobyl explosion; does that mean that high amounts of radiation didn't cause the deaths of the people of Pripyat and complications for people in surrounding regions? Has the prevalence of Cancers in the region of Chernobyl increased SINCE THE CHERNOBYL INCIDENT??
