True. Let's hope Putin will make a hueg error of judgment soon, or that
the court will tire of him. Would not be surprised if it happens within
3-5 years.

Let me wipe the dust off my crystal ball. Ah, I see it now. In 3-5 years
Zelensky will be a footnote in history. It's a bit cloudy whether or not
he will be Diemed.

However, it MAY be correct. Russia has HUGE
resources while Ukraine, even in good circumstances,
is far behind the curve. I don't think Ukraine can
"win" in the conventional sense - it will take
   something more "political".

No. Russia does not have HUGE resources.
Its economy is about the size of Italy's.
It is already in total stagflation, with interest rates over 20%.
20% of GDP is going on a war which it isn't winning.
Even Russian economist are warning that total economic collapse is threatening.
Putin is going all-in to convince the West that 'Russia cant lose' At a cost of 1500 casualties a day.
This is the truth! Not only is the economy of EU 15x and the population 3x, as more people are killed in russia, and more brains leave the country, the only thing they have (oil and wood) will soon remain in the ground.
A proof of this is to look at Venezuela. One of the most oil rich countries in the world.
What happens when the brains leave and the economy collapses? The oil remains in the ground.
I suspect that in 3-5 years russia will suddenly collapse economically, just as it did when the soviet era ended.

3-5 months.  The winter is going to be very very rough in Russia.

One day, big scary soviet union, the next day, a collapse and only smoking ruins remaining.
I think history will repeat itself.

   With NK troops

Who are allegeldly shooting at Russians because they look and sound pretty much like Ukrainains. Or desrting in droves.,
Also note that NK have no inherent interest in sending people to die in Ukraine. Only if they are paid for it and if it looks are if they won't be punished, will they continue. As soon as the house of cards starts to fall, they will be the first one to get out of there.

NL cares as much for its soldiers as Putin does for his
It's two clever men congratulating themselves on how revolting the peasants are and ethnically cleansing their own countries of their own people.
However NK  presence shows Putin has in fact gone too far. All he has left is babushkas with lead filled swinging handbags. Watch out Vlad.
