The 'Jesuit Relations' are good reading with the caveat that the Jebs were
trying to get funding and additional people so they might have been a bit
optimistic of their success of converting the heathen. They did do fairly
well with the Hurons the problem being the Mohawks, one of the Iroquois
tribes hated Hurons or anyone hanging out with them.
