 I was upset when Borland bought it and never did anything with it.
 I'd had vi on CP/M but used the Wordstar that was bundled with the
system.  Finally Vim came along. 'Improved' is an understatement compared
to vanilla vi.

You were not programming then before the days of a 'glass teletype'
vi was a good editor for a flexowriter...
