That is nitpicking.
I used the terminology adequately and let a note in the post where I
made that use, and the post was precisely about something that also was
likely to affect terminals.
Calling this "nitpicking" is maybe going a bit too far. Maybe I should
have moved the note out of the signature block, but still... if it gets
filed under that no matter whether the person actually did try to make
the meaning clearer, people may feel tempted to just drop any effort to
clarify things in communication.
