Hmm. Checks ancient iPhone SE 1st gen, doesn't have a SIM, not connected to
wireless... Pages (a very old version) still works. Same with Keynote.
Didn't try Numbers, no reason to expect that it won't work. The iPhone SE
was replaced by an iPhone SE 2nd gen, which has now been replaced by an
iPhone 16e (what would have been the SE 4th gen except someone at Apple got
cute) The SE is NINE YEARS OLD. Still works, including the Apple apps which
haven't been updated in years.

What's no longer shocking is how incredibly ignorant the Apple trolls are.

They're logged into Apple servers every moment of their lives, and then
they brazenly lie that they're not.

Who does that?
What normal person lies about what they do every moment of their lives?

It's not normal behavior to brazenly lie about being logged into servers.

Checks iPad Pro 1st gen, no SIM, no wireless... Pages works. Keynote works.
Tried Numbers on the iPad, I would NOT be running a spreadsheet on an iPhone,
especxially one as small as an SE, but would have no roblems on an iPad.
Older than the SE. Been gathering dust for years. was replaced by a 4th gen
then by a 7th gen. Hasn't been updated in years.

Again, who is that incredibly ignorant except for you strange Apple trolls?
   *Hasn't been updated in years.*

Nobody normal would say "hasn't been updated in years" and then claim that
the OS was updated and the apps didn't "die" as a result of that update
that never happened.

Who is that strange?
Nobody is that stupid, right?

Yet you Apple trolls are that stupid.

Both are now connected to wireless and updating. Note: both were old company
devices, parked in file cabinets at the office when they were replaced by
newer devices. Both are being brought up to date as much as possible for use
as emergency devices, which probably means they'll be going back into
storage. (Yes, both can do WiFi Calling, so they can send and recieve phobne
calls. Yes, including the iPad.)

Idiots. If you log into the Apple servers, of course the apps will be
updated. It's if you do NOT log into Apple servers when the problems occur.

What is so strange about Apple trolls that they comprehend nothing?
Who is that stupid as to say what WolfFan just said?

The main problem was getting the latest versions of some custom (NOT Apple)
apps, created by the company and sideloaded (yes, I know Arlen says that
doesn't work, he's wrong) to install.

Idiots. I never said you can't sideload company apps, you Apple morons.
You Apple trolls are so desperate for a point that you create bullshit.

Nobody but you strange ignorant uneducated Apple trolls would even think to
claim Apple doesn't have the capability for iOS Custom Apps (via Apple
Business Manager or Apple School Manager, for example).

The very latest versions require
newer versions of iOS/iPadOS than coulds work on the ancient hardware, so we
had to step back one version.

One wonders where m'man Arlen gets these easily refuted lies, and why he
even bothers trying.

And yet, you haven't refuted a single fact that I stated.
You Apple trolls are so *desperate* to claim the impossible.

If you own a normal iOS device (not a company updated device which is
updated OUTSIDE the app store, you morons) and if you do not want to create
an Apple Account on it, then the apps will die as you update the iOS
version simply because you can't update any app that is not updated with
the operating system (which is most of the apps that will die over time).

For you Apple trolls to hate that fact is normal.

But for you Apple trolls to deny that fact, means you're Apple trolls.

Nobody is that stupid.
Just you Apple trolls are that stupid.

You deny every fact about Apple that you don't like.
Which happens to be every fact about Apple.

What's telling is how *desperate* you Apple trolls are to defend Apple.
And yet, not one of you Apple trolls has the intellect to understand iOS.
