News18's anonymous News Desk hacks on whether Susie Wiles recommends
that Donald Trump enlist Narendra Modi as his MAGA campaign surrogate
for the National Question:

| Bilateral Trade: Both India and US have been seen negotiating a
| trade deal during Trump's first term. While there is no progress on
| a bilateral trade deal between the two countries during Biden's
| presidency, Trump might take the US out of the World Trade
| Organization and deal with the countries individually. The previous
| Trump administration had revoked the Generalized System of
| Preferences (GSP) from India. The GSP allows eligible developing
| countries to export duty-free goods to the US. At the 14th India-US
| Trade Policy Forum in New Delhi in January, India sought easier
| visas for its traders and investors, participation in Washington's
| public procurement and also asked the US to make permanent the
| system of eligible applicants to renew their H-1B visa there itself
| instead of coming back home. The bilateral trade between India and
| the US stood at $118.28 billion in 2023-24. Exports to the US dipped
| by 1.32 per cent to $77.5 billion in 2023-24 as against $78.54
| billion in 2022-23, while imports dipped by about 20 per cent to
| $40.8 billion, as per a GTRI report. Washington was the top trading
| partner of New Delhi during 2021-22 and 2022-23, but in 2023-24
| China emerged as India's largest trading partner with $118.4 billion
| worth of trade.

Will Trump draft JD Vance to sell his signature bipartisan merit-based
immigration reform legislation?
