| To be blunt, in all my years working for Congress and in the
| executive branch, I never witnessed an agency so brazenly, so
| unapologetically, so contemptuously, and so openly subvert
| Congress's will as DHS did in 2008 and 2016 with regard to its
| expansion of the OPT program. This is not a partisan complaint, as
| the original expansion was the work of the George W. Bush
| administration and the subsequent expansion was done by the Obama
| administration. At least when President Obama's DHS repeated the
| affront, it had the decency to obfuscate its motives and not
| publicly mock the Constitution's separation of powers. The Bush
| administration, not so much.

What will be the foreign born population in Howard Lutnick's
Census.GOV headcounts and share of the American labor market in Lori
Chavez-DeRemer's DoL.GOV surveys and how does Susie Wiles recommend
Trump's endorsed successor sell the hard facts on the ground to those
legacy American proles who thought they voted against their
dispossession in 2024?
