Change Apple Mail or AOL settings for better threads?

Hi we have a group email and one lady uses AOL Mail and instead of her replies starting with "Re" they start with "Reply" so her msgs don't get included in the thread with every body else's, its like she started a new thread.
Is there any setting I can change in Apple Mail to see a "Reply" msg the same as a "Re" msg? Or does any body know of a setting in AOL Mail that we can ask her to change? Email is supposed to use "Re" right?? Thank you.
