The only time this was not the case was when watching "Lord of the
Rings". Book and film matched perfectly. I should add that it's been
several decades since I read the book.
I presume you're referring to the films out of New Zealand, which
generally get a lot of praise.
Also, AirNZ did several safety briefing
films using the LoTR theme, such as
