In Sept, 1987, I can remember being driven up the M1 from London to
Manchester ... in the Dark .... in the RAIN .... at 95 MPH AND BEING
OVERTAKEN BY TRUCKS AND CARS!!

You were only on the M1 to just north of Northampton (famous as the
birthplace of Matt Smith, and infamous in RADW as the home of Aggie). The
bulk of that journey is on the M6.
