"Love and Monsters" is a unique Doctor Who episode that takes
a humorous and self-aware look at the show's fandom.

**Overall, "Love and Monsters" is a fun and thought-provoking
episode for die-hard Doctor Who fans who enjoy a bit of
self-deprecating humour. However, it might not be the best
entry point for newcomers.

Imagine if "Love and Monsters" was the first Doctor Who episode
a person saw! <shudder>
When I watch Van der Valk, he is always stuck in my brain as Elton Pope
Who's 'Elton Pope'?? Elton John, sure, been there, seen him, but who's 'Elton Pope'?? AH!! Amazing what you can learn by doing an Internet Search!!
Van der Valk, however, I like that. I know it's 'set' in Holland/Amsterdam or similar, but do 'they' really send an 'English' cast and crew to Holland/Amsterdam .... or is it, basically, done in GB with a few 'Exterior' shots done in Holland/Amsterdam??
