 With Doctor Who I don't have an agenda, beyond being a Doctor
Who fan that generally enjoys the show and wants to see it
succeed. The way some fans go on it's like they want to see a
show they profess to like be cancelled just because it doesn't
fit their idea of how the show should be made, which seems like
a silly point of view for a "fan" to take to me.
 

Have you ever had a pet? Would you have wanted that pet to be tortured made to suffer? If it had become incurably ill you would have wanted to stop it's suffering by allowing it to be put down, and the same goes for Doctor Who. Doctor Who should have its suffering relieved or be put to rest in peace.

For me, as a Doctor Who fan since 1972, I try my best to enjoy
the show and I am happy to discuss it's flaws as well as its
good moments. I certainly have never claimed it was perfect!

 A female Doctor is no problem per se, beyond the fact some of
her stories were poorly conceived and realised. Whilst a black
Doctor is no problem beyond the fact he seems to be written as a
cry baby that gets emotional at the drop of a hat. Personally
that's not what I want from Doctor Who. But in 2024 I also know
that the show isn't made for my demographic. So my choice is to
watch or switch-off... I choose to watch.

It's not being made for anyone except a bunch of degenerate woke far left activists who have always hated the show and don't watch it. Stop being a fool and thinking that the majority finds this disgusting crap Doctor Who has been turned into entertaining. No one in the entertainment industry is catering for viewers any more. Neither of them should accepted to role, since they never had the acting range and ability to portray it.

I do however blame Sylvester McCoy for his era as if there's one
thing I just can't tolerate in life is Scottish people that roll

There was nothing wrong with Sylvester McCoy's acting. He was give totally shit scripts. When he was finally given a decent script in the TVM he gave his best ever performance in the role. Both Whittaker and Gatwa rank far below McCoy.
