This is not a miscarriage. It's murder. If the pregnant Time Lady regenerates into another Time Lady then the foetus would be able to survive and be born. If they laid eggs then they would have to incubate them. Where are the incubators? Is Romana Dejah Thoris? In any case, how would an egg come out of a man? The problem still remains. Allowing a pregnant Time Lady to regenerate into a man is tantamount to murder of the unborn child, and that includes eggs.
