 I think Dalek plans tend to be a bit more bonkers than most!
 

most TV and movies in general don't really make sense when you
think about it fully. Sci-fi, especially when involving time
travel, doubles-down on the not making sense.

 That's why I don't over-analyse Doctor Who episodes too much, I
boil them down to whether I found them enjoyable to watch, or
not. Worrying about them not making sense or being proper
science based would just make me go dizzy. I'm quite forgiving
if I found an episode entertaining.
 

That's why episodes of shows like Star Trek where they simply
push the big red reset button (literally in the case of a
David Tennant Doctor Who episode!) are just a complete waste
of time by lazy writers who can't think of anything sensible
to write.

 If they bring David Tennant's Doctor back in 2026 for some
'specials' THAT would be my definition of lazy writing!!!

Oops!! That should of course have said Matt Smith, not David Tennant, episode with the big red reset button.  :-\
