Do you recall a couple of months ago, when Binky was bitching about us calling him 'Binky' because *HE* thought it meant 'Pedophile talking' or some such 'in Gay Society' and I stated I'd ask my Nephew (who is Gay) if he knew what it meant??
Well, today was the day. One of my Nieces' had just moved into a new house, so she and her Husband had a combined Housewarming and Birthday Party for her three year old Daughter, Daisy, and my Nephew, Jeremy, was there with his Husband, Alfredo, were in attendance .... so I asked him if he had any clue what 'Binky' meant in Gay Society.
He replied 'NO', of course and, whilst I was explaining our situation here, Jeremy was straight on his 'phone and came up with something along the lines of .....
Quote
binky
/ˈbɪŋki/
noun
     1. a baby's dummy: trademark in US
"Daniel lay in his carriage, happily sucking a binky"
End Quote
Seems both Oxford AND Cambridge English Dictionary's define 'Binky' similarly.
So it would seem Binky is incorrect .... Shock!! Horror!! That can't be right, can it??
And Why, oh, Why are THEY using MY NAME in their example?? Co-incidence??
