an agenda... you imagine how the episode is going to play out

That's what happens when Doctor Whoke is written with an agenda in mind and not to entertain. The political bigotry and bad writing is obvious to anyone with intelligence. The Marxist-Fascist nanny state was the theme of the entire season and included in every single episode. You have no understanding of literature whatsoever. I didn't miss any subplots because as we saw at the end there weren't any. The writing was total and utter shit. Boring, a let down, sloppy, abysmal, and a con.
