All in all, a typical RTD season finale. Nothing makes a lot of
sense and the big bad is defeated very quickly after a big build
up, leaving more time for family chit-chat and tearful emotional
goodbyes of course.

Thankfully, based on previous experience my expectations weren't
too high for this episode... just as well, as for me it's RTD's
worst season finale! I could say a lot more, good and bad, but
it's "Doctor Who" not a science documentary. It looked good, and
Ncuti was on top form, but think about the plot too much and
you'll be scratching your head for the rest of the day.

whole... so bearing in mind that, "Empire of Death" gets a *5/10*
from me.
