Aggy would be sooooo impressed. From the archives in Nov, 1991, Bob Ellis posted ....

A serious research query: Does "The Master" usually wear a black cloak and carry a stick something like a shepherd's crook?
I ask this, because the recent inquiry into Satanic ritual abuse claims in the Orkney Islands revealed that several of the "afflicted children" claimed that they had been taken to a field outside of town and made to run or dance around a black-robed man called "The Master," who would at a given point "hook" one of the children and rape him/her. "The Master" was subsequently identified as a Rev. McKenzie, the local minister with a heart condition, who in his defense had his lawyer suggest that the scene portrayed had to do with the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, naming "Master Splinter" as the likely video model. But Master Splinter is a *good* character, dresses in a white karate jacket, and does not carry any stick except sometimes a staff that he uses as a martial arts weapon (this according to my 8-year-old). A posting on another net identified Dr. Who as the more likely video source. But I'm not a Whovian. Can any reader explicate?
