The reading of The Archives continues and, tonight, as part of the thread entitled "Story Survey. The Results!!!!!!" due to thread drift, someone posted ....

Personally, I was not surprised at how well the City of Death did (of course, I was one of those who voted for it). It was a fun story, featured some nice locations in Paris and also a guest appearance by John Cheese. A crime story (the theft of the Mona Lisa), with a memorable alien as the villain. The exchanges between the Doctor and the "hit first, ask questions later" Inspector Duggan were great. And also a tie in with the genesis of life on Earth, not to mention a quick trip by the Doctor back to Italy to visit Leonardo Di Vinci. One of my all-time favorite stories.

Is Leonardo a favourite of The Doctor cause DoctorMatt, in "Vincent and the Doctor", also visits Leonardo??
