There’s no way Britons are even as dense as Americans (on average),

socially responsible and liberal government while the USA appears to
be accelerating its sleepwalk into Gilead.

Eh? I am referring to the U.K. general election on Thursday which replaced
our lame duck right wing “Conservative” government (for Americans: this is
what you label as left wing liberal) with a dull as ditchwater soft centre
right “Labour” Government (for Americans: this is what you label as far
left socialism).

Third in the popular vote was our far-right neo fascist Reform Party (for
Americans: what you label as left leaning Republicans) led by Nigel Farage,
the closest thing we have to Trump (narcissistic, egotistical,
opportunistic, nasty, with zero charisma but an unfashionable ability to
make idiots believe in him). But they only got 5 seats in Parliament, so
THAT’S ALL RIGHT THEN!

Fourth in the popular vote was our fiscally conservative, socially
progressive Liberal Democrat Party - why Dave is in favour of these very
woke, permissive, largely atheistic people I don’t know. By cunning
focussing of their support they got 71 seats in Parliament.
