Officially not one single person needed to go to watch
Doctor Who in the cinemas, since the theatre rooms were
booked by the BBC in advance for a fixed fee. The BBC can
claim that the rooms were all full if it likes, and that is
what it has done, even if they were all empty, since they've
already paid for all the seats. This is what is known as a
scam and a lie. Anyone can hire a venue and claim they
filled it even if nobody attended the event the venue was
booked for.

It doesn't matter how many tickets the BBC sold, the rooms
sill count as full houses even if they're completely empty,
just like a night club counts as a full house even if it's
empty because it has to pay royalties to the PRS/PPL/MCPS
for all music played as if it had a full house. Those are
the figures the BBC are declaring. Lies based on numbers
that they have to pay actors money for royalties and
residuals.

The reality is that all but a tiny number of the seats were
occupied. Let the BBC prove otherwise.

Seems to ME, Aggy, that YOU are the one making claims (not the
BBC) so it is up to you to PROVE you claims!!
Aggy makes a lot of claims, and similar to Dave, never backs his
wild claims up with anything for us to reference or evidential
proof of those claims. It's just his point of view and in his
world nobody else's opinion count and everyone else is wrong.
I don't have to prove the BBC's claims. They are downright lies and deception. If the BBC wants me to believe otherwise let it prove them.
IMHO, of course!!
Well, everyone is entitled to their opinions, it doesn't always
make them right though. But yes, if people are making
nonsensical claims they should at least make some attempt at
trying to prove their point... in Aggy's case, he can't, as he
The BBC is making the nonsensical claims not me.
just makes stuff up to suit his agenda.
It's the BBC that makes stuff up to suit its agenda. Stop acting as their apologist. The BBC has provided no evidence whatsoever that anyone went to see Doctor Whoke being screen in cinemas. I'm not going to believe then until they do since I know that when you book a venue it counts as a full house when you pay royalties and for insurance even if it's completely empty.
