The news is the news, it was what it was... it represented
events of the time. The event, the TV station covering it and
the presenter reporting it... Past events become history. You
didn't like RTD changing history with Isaac Newton did you?
I don't believe in re-voicing old news clips to suit modern
sensibilities. How long before the actual news itself starts
getting re-edited so past events don't appear as they were? What
future has this world got if all people are presented with is
revisionist views of the past?
Hmmm! Does "1984" spring to mind??
