Huw Edwards wasn't race swapped and Tennant didn't go back in time to meet him. He was playing a presenter on a 24 hour news station and anyone can fill that role if it needs to be re-dubbed due to the original person portraying the news reader being a self admitted child abuser, even a woman of mixed Asian and Jamaican decent.

I don't believe in re-voicing old news clips to suit modern
sensibilities. How long before the actual news itself starts
getting re-edited so past events don't appear as they were? What
