 RADWM wasn't perfect by any means. I always thought it was quite
a dull place actually. Some nice people posted there alright,
but sometimes you need a bit of life around the place.
 

Moderaters are humans, and have their own ideas and biases
as to what would be considered appropriate to post...
so I wouldn't be so ready to say that "everyone" is
treated fairly and respectfully as opinions on both sides are
in play.

 Imagine how things would be in today's politically correct world
on a moderated Doctor Who newsgroup... you'd be able to say
nothing about the latest episodes without it being moderated.

 And if Stalin, I mean Dave, was the moderator of that group,
anything posted that went against verses in his KJV bible would
be 'moderated' too.

... but he'd be unable to TELL you which Verse' had been offended against!

So no, moderated newsgroups are a pile of shit.
 

I don't think I've EVER contributed to a Moderated Group so I'd have trouble with the idea of just ONE Moderator i.e. GOD.
Maybe a small panel of three or five and a majority of the panel had to approve a post. Something like that!!
