Warrior's of the Deep is a standout story in the
Sixth Doctor's era. It's a thrilling underwater
adventure with strong characters, a compelling plot,
and a visually stunning setting.
And yet somehow the AI LLM still makes more sense than
your own posts.
Maybe we don't need a Dave Yadallee on RADW so? We could just
get some bot to replace him...
I wonder would anyone notice any difference?
Immediately. While being as dull and incorrect on matters of fact as Dave,
no LLM would spell as badly, form incoherent fragments of sentences as
responses, RAndomLY switch between capitals and lower case type in the
middle of a word, or insist on requoting hundreds of lines of post in order
to make a five word comment which is a hundred lines removed from the
statement being replied to.
Nor would it go off on a completely unrelated tangent (often with an
impossible challenge added in) rather than try to answer a question set to
it.
Unless you completely lobotomised the LLM by only allowing it to “learn”
from Dave’s unaltered and self-generated output.
Now, an LLM imitation of Agamemnon - that would be more of a challenge to
spot.
Repetitive parroting of catchphrases, hair-trigger sensitivity, misuse of
the meaning of words, a plethora of adjectives, a bizarre fascistic agenda
- all highly imitable.
It could be several posts before you realised it was too sane to be the
real thing.
