Doctor Who producer spotting

As you know, I’ve been watching the old ‘Edgar Wallace Mystery
Theatre’ films on Talking Pictures TV. Last weekend’s one was
called ‘Accidental Death’ and featured Derrick Sherwin in
quite a major role as the heroine’s stuffy fiancé.

I hope his wooden performance was just him trying to act
stuffy and repressed. If that was his genuine acting style, I
can see why he gave it up and moved behind the camera.

BTW also in the film were John Carson (Ambril in ‘Snakedance’)
and Richard Vernon (Slartibartfast in ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide
to the Galaxy’).
